Moss holds water against your tiles, lifts them as it grows and washes down into your gutters, causing blockages and overflows. Left alone it can shorten the life of your roof and lead to costly repairs.
Our roof cleaning combines careful roof scraping with a biocide treatment. The scraping removes the moss, and the biocide keeps working after we leave to kill remaining spores, algae and lichen and slow regrowth.
✓ Moss carefully removed by hand
✓ Biocide treatment to slow regrowth
✓ Gutters cleared of fallen moss
✓ Fully insured, free no-obligation quotes
We check the roof, the moss and access, then give you a clear, fixed price.
Moss is carefully scraped off the tiles by hand – our preferred method for roofs.
Fallen moss and debris are cleared from your gutters and around the property.
A biocide kills remaining spores and slows regrowth, so the roof keeps improving.

No – our preferred method is to remove the moss by careful scraping, then apply a biocide treatment. Scraping gets the thick moss off, and the treatment keeps working after we've gone.
The biocide keeps working for months after it's applied – you can see the difference in our photos taken four months after treatment. How long the roof stays clear depends on shade, trees and exposure.
Yes, we clear the moss and debris that falls into your gutters during the roof clean. We also offer full gutter clearance if they need more attention.
