Roof cleaning from £650

Thick moss on a roof holds water, blocks gutters and makes a home look older than it is. We clean roofs across Darlington and the surrounding villages.
Our preferred method is to remove the moss by hand, then apply a biocide treatment that kills the spores left behind. The roof carries on cleaning up over the following months as the treatment works.
✓ Moss removed by hand
✓ Biocide treatment to kill remaining growth
✓ Gutters cleared of moss afterwards
✓ Fully insured, PASMA trained
We check the roof, the moss and access, then give you a clear, fixed price.
Moss is carefully scraped off the tiles by hand – our preferred method for roofs.
Fallen moss and debris are cleared from your gutters and around the property.
A biocide kills remaining spores and slows regrowth, so the roof keeps improving.

Roof cleaning starts from £650. The price depends on the size and pitch of the roof, access and how much moss there is. Send a few photos with your quote request or call 07584 956981.
Our preferred method is hand moss removal followed by a biocide treatment. The biocide kills the growth at the root, and the roof keeps improving over the following months.
Yes. Moss falls into the gutters during the clean, so we clear them out afterwards as part of the job.
It varies with the roof, shade and surrounding trees, but a roof that's been cleaned and treated stays clean far longer than one that's simply scraped.
